IEM is one of the few energy enterprises, which entered the Chinese market in the early stage. As early as 2004, the company supplied nickel ore and iron ore to the well-known domestic enterprises. We have provided Indonesian Envirocoal to power plants and other enterprises, such as Zhuhai Power Station of Guangdong Yudean Group Co. Ltd., Huaneng Shantou Power Plant, SDIC Jingmin (Fujian) Industrial & Trading Co., Ltd, and Shenzhen Luhai Resources Development Corp., Ltd. Apart from the China market; IEM has expanded its business to the Southeast Asia, such as Thailand, Singapore and India.

Therefore, a management team that has extensive knowledge and experience in mineral resources was nurtured. In terms of maritime transport, we have cooperated with several ship-owners for a long period of time. We have established strategic partnership to provide customers with safe, efficient, cost-effective transportation options. During the intensive shipping period, we ensure to offer a reasonable transport costs and stable capacity.

For the terminal services, IEM has a good transportation network with a dedicated loading terminal and various types of transportation equipment installations. They can ensure the high speed of loading. Moreover, the improved terminal building can accommodate up to 300 feet barges.

Since the Chinese government promulgated the policy of "Encourage Imports and Suppressing Exports" of coal in 2003, and cancelled the custom duty on imported coal, the volume of coal imports underwent significant increases of approximately 46%. The coal consumers in coastal regions in eastern and southern China, such as Guangdong Province, have turned to coal producers in countries including Indonesia, Vietnam and Mongolia, where prices are lower. With China as the major markets, IEM ushers opportunities and challenges.
